Our Impact

Building Lasting Change, From Families to Communities

At ParentRoot Collective, we deliver evidence-informed, trauma-aware programmes designed to strengthen families, support children, and build resilient communities. Our work focuses on measurable outcomes that make a real difference for parents, pupils, and schools.

Our first Root & Rise pilot launched in Breightmet, Bolton in November 2025, one of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities. The programme was co-designed with local parents, grounded in research, and informed by lived experience, ensuring relevance and impact.

What We Aim to Achieve

  • Parents: Increased confidence, improved emotional regulation, stronger parent-child relationships

  • Children: Greater sense of safety, security, and wellbeing at home and school

  • Communities: Stronger connections, mutual support, and resilience beyond formal services

Early Signs of Impact

Even before the pilot had concluded, we saw strong engagement and enthusiasm:

  • Parents eager to participate in programmes and mentoring

  • Schools and community partners ready to collaborate

  • Communities responding positively to opportunities for connection and growth

Evidence & Evaluation

ParentRoot programmes are designed to generate measurable outcomes. The pilot showed measurable change in:

  • Recognising Patterns: Breaking Generational Cycles

  • Stronger Adult-Child Connection

  • Confidence in Seeking Help

  • Community Belonging: Peer Support & Trust

This data will inform programme development, ensure quality, and provide transparent evidence for schools and funders about the impact of our work.

Our belief is simple but powerful. When parents are supported to thrive, families heal and communities flourish.
